Sedona

 

フラッグスタッフという町に泊まって、次の日は南下してセドナに行きました。45分くらいのドライブですが、景色が変わっていって本当に美しいです。途中10分くらいで300mくらいも下るカーブ連続のところもあり、見ごたえ満点でした。だんだん木が減って山が赤くなっていきます。途中でニジマスの釣り堀によってお昼ご飯にしました。一人一匹ずつ釣ってその場でグリルしました。アメリカでは釣った野生の魚をそのまま食べるのは安全ではなく、こんなに新鮮なお魚を食べたのは子どもたち初めてだと思います。本当においしくてみんな大喜びでした！骨も柔らかくてすぐ取れて、きれいに最後まで食べてました。それからセドナに着きましたが、ダウンタウンは人であふれかえっていました。通りすぎただけですが、町のおしゃれさも印象的でした。セドナは山も道も赤くて本当にきれいなところです。ハイキングスポットもアメリカ一あるらしい。道路わきの駐車量もすごかったです。この日はキャシードロロックに行きました。また上の方まで登りましたが、途中でこれ以上はえいさを登らせたくない、と思って中断。信ちゃんが上の子３人を連れてもう少し上まで行きましたが、やっぱり怖くてどこまで行ったか見れませんでした。ちなみにゆりは旅行の間こうやって岩をよじ登っている間もずっとスカートをはいてます。なぜ。。

We stayed in Flagstaff and drove down south to Sedona the next day. That driving scenery was really beautiful as well. We were like driving down 1000ft within 10 minutes. We stopped by the Rainbow Trout Farm on the way for lunch. Each of us caught a trout and grilled there. It was the first time for kids to eat fish this fresh. They loved it! Fishing was fun and fresh fish was delicious. Definitely it was my favorite lunch of all. We drove pass downtown Sedona and amazed at its beauty and crowd. I fell in love with these red rocks and red path! Beautiful!! There were many cars parked by the road for hiking everywhere. We were wondering if we could find a parking spot but Cathedral Rock parking lots were secured by police. Like Grand Canyon, you can climb wherever you want here. Asa was trying to climb higher than the up right pic but he is not allowed when his mom is thinking right. Shin took other three a little higher but I was too scared to look. I don't know how high they got. Anyways, I was so happy to see them back. They loved climbing.
