1st birthday

ゆに１歳です！特に何もしなかったけど、フォトセッションしました！（ゆには始め嫌がっていた・・）家が狭くなっていって素敵な背景が見つからないのがとっても残念（外は零下１０度の世界だし）ですが、ゆにの手作りブランケットと一緒に成長をカメラに納めました！家族が大好きなとってもいい子のゆにに幸せをたくさんもらっています。ありがとう。愛してるよ♡
Yuri turned 1 today! I didn't do anything special except this photo shoot. I had to do it inside because it's literally freezing outside. I remember the day we took her out from the hospital was a heavy snowy day too. Problem is, our place is so small that I can't find nice background any more. I decided to place these precious handmade blankets(remember these?:). Anyway, she is cute and happy. That's good. We love her so much.

Ottawa

ビザ更新のためにカナダのオタワにある大使館へ行ってきました。オタワは-40℃という寒さだったため一眼レフを構える気にとてもならず、今回の写真もブログもiPadから失礼します。。ビザが断られたら日本に強制送還の恐れもあったのでビクついてましたが、実際はとても優しくて安心しました。ビザ発行を待つ間カナダの有名な食べ物を食べたり観光して世界一長いスケートリンクでスケートに参戦。良い思い出となりました。

We went to Ottawa to renew our visa. The day we left was the coldest in Canada in two decades. I coudn't use my DSL because it was too cold. So all these photos were taken by iPad. While waiting, we went sightseeing. Enjoyed food and skating in the world largest skate rink. Shin was so excited to find zinger burger which he used to eat in Singapore. 

She is STANDING!

ゆにの中で最近立つのが流行ってます。気づくと立ってにこにこしています。なんでもいいけどかわいいなあ！ってことで写真撮ってたらけのもラジコンのリモコン持ってきて写真撮る真似し始めました。かわいいなあ！ってことで２０１４年あけましておめでとうございます。悪天候が続いて一向に学校が始まらないまま明日出発です。ドキドキ。
Lately she stands a lot more and with great smile. I think she likes to stand like others. When I started taking pictures of her, Ken brought his radio control car's remote and "took pictures" as well.
