Summer Break

 夏休みもあと１ヶ月を切りました。今年は旅行もなくなり、家に入り浸っていますが、子どもたちはそれが好きみたいです。お外に行こうよ、と誘うとものすごい反対にあいます。上の三人は遊戯王とマジックという二つのカードゲームにハマっています。テレビの時間はいつも遊戯王を見ているので、カードゲームもアニメの登場人物みたいなセリフを入れながらカードを出します。そのカードは俺がこいつを出すまで取っておくべきだったな！みたいな。まあ英語なんですけど。えいさは元気に庭をうろうろしたり1人で楽しくやっています。今年は庭の低い木にロビンが巣をかけて卵を産みました！無事にひなが出てきて巣立っていきました。子どもたちはひなにミミズを食べさせたそうです。貴重な体験ができたかな？金曜日は信ちゃんが基本休みなのでできるだけ子どもたちを説得して出かけます。まだまだ行ったことがないいい場所がいっぱいあるとわかりました。あと1ヶ月、引き続きゆっくり過ごしたい思います。

Almost summer is over. Heat is gone. We have less than a month of summer break. This year we had to cancel our trip and are mostly staying at home. My kids love it. When I try to be active and ask them if we can go out, they always say no without fail. They are into Yugioh and Magic cards. They can play forever. As I hear them playing, they were acting like one of Yugioh anime characters. So funny. Asa is fine by himself and goes somewhere without telling me. Other kids had never done that. I have to keep eye on him. He is a sweet funny kid and makes all of our hearts melt. Another thing that was special happened earlier in this summer. We found Robin's nest in our backyard. Shin and kids watched over the egg hatched and baby bird flew off eventually. Kids fed the baby bird earthworm. That was neat. On Friday when Shin doesn’t have to work, we try to go out and explore the nature. We found many places that we have never been yet. I am looking forward to finding more places by the end of summer break;)
