Gooseberry State Park

もともとフロリダに行くつもりでとっていた信ちゃんのお休み、子どもたちはどうでもいい様子だったけど（子どもって柔軟だなあ）親たちはどこにも行かないのは残念過ぎる、と思うので、どこか日帰りできるところへ行くことにしました。車で二時間ほどで行けるDuluthへ。まずは一番人気のこの公園に。やっぱりみんな考えることは同じようで、たくさん人がいました。一番大きな滝のところはあまりに人が多く、外だけどみんなマスクしてました。でもやっぱり迫力があって、美しく見ごたえのある公園でした！水で遊んだら楽しいだろうなと思いつつ、ここではハイキングを楽しみました。

 We were planning to go to Florida this year but had to cancel. Sigh.. Well, kids are so flexible. They didn't care much but parents wanted to go somewhere instead, as far as they could come back in one day. The solution was Duluth. Our first stop was Gooseberry Falls. That is such a famous place. So many people were there, so we masked even in outside at some spot. I love waterfalls. This park is spectacular. It would be so much fun to play with water. We mostly hiked this time.
