Black Beach

 

グーズベリーの滝を出てからほど近いところにあるブラックビーチに行きました。ここは文字通り砂が粒が大きくて黒いのです。なので驚きの水の透明度！いつも水草もある湖で泳いでいるので違いに驚きました。ものすごく冷たくて水遊びする気にはなりませんでしたが。スペリオル湖とその岸が壮観です。とても静かで癒されました。風も吹きつけてくるので寒かったのですが、この岩の島を登れるということで、無類の登り好き、おだいが喜びました。大きい男の子三人でかなり上の方まで登って島の反対側まで行ったようです。見ている方はハラハラしましたが、おだいも大きくなったなあと感心しました。

This beach is only 15 mins away from Gooseberry Falls. Sand is black and each sand particle is bigger. That makes water super clear unlike beaches nearby. We didn't play with water because it was so cold. The view was amazing. The wind was chill but its quietness soothed us. Our little climber Daiki was so excited to go up the rock island. Shin took older two boys to the rock island. They went up quite high and even to the other side of island. I was a little scared but forced to learn that my boy got so big!
