My Parents’ Visit

両親が遊びに来てくれました。でもちょうど出発の日が台風直撃だったので、どうなることかと祈り続けていたのですが、朝乗るはずだった便が欠航になってしまい、両親はなんと15時間の運転で羽田の便に間に合うべく車で向かいました。で、無事に来れたのですが、祈りと信仰について深く学びました。ミネソタには2日しかいなかったのですが、湖やミネハハの滝に連れて行きました。忘れてならないのが、お土産をたくさん持ってきてくれました。四つのラゲージのうち三つは私たち用でした！
My parents came to visit us! We were looking forward to this for a long time. However, typhoon hit their town on the day they were supposed to leave. The flights were cancelled. We had many prayers and they decided to drive all the way to Tokyo, which is 15 hour drive. They drove all night and caught the next flight. I learned a lot about faith and prayer from this experience. They had only a few days here in Minnesota. We took them to the lake and Minnehaha falls. Oh, and they brought so much souvenirs. They had four luggage and three of them were just for us!
