Family reunion 2018

わたしの父がこれまでずっと70になったらみんなで集まりたいから帰ってきてね、と言っていたので信ちゃんが格安チケットを見つけた時、ああお父さんが祈ったのかな？と思いました。今回は冬休み中だったので姉家族もいて盛り上がりました。両親には現在生きてる孫で14人います。今回は泊りだけ無料の青年の家に泊まりました。子どもたちにとっては初の文化体験になったと思います。ご飯の配膳やラジオ体操、お掃除点検など日本の魂を理解できたかな？ご飯はとってもおいしくてよく食べてました。昼は山登りが雨天中止になったので中で散々遊びました。夜は大きなお風呂を楽しんで、子どもたちの赤ちゃんの写真をこれは誰だってクイズしました。とても盛り上がりました。そのあと２組に分かれて綱引き。朝はおじいちゃんからプレゼントの授与の後、お姉ちゃん主催の宝探しの活動で盛り上がりました。子どもたち仲良くなってとっても良い時間となりました！
My dad had been asking us to come to Japan for family reunion quite a while. So when we found a cheap ticket, our thought was on him that must have prayed really hard for us to be back. It was during winter break and my sister was also able to come home as well. There was all kinds of little miracles to make this reunion happen. It’s amaing. My parents have 14 great grandchildren that are alive now. It was so fun to see them all together. My kids loved the food. They ate a lot. The place we stayed was a government educational building. Their rule had my kids learn some of Japanese culture. It was the first time they tried nationalwide radio excercise that the all kids in Japan learn at school. In the evening, we showed all kids’ baby picture. They loved that activity. The next day grandpa, my dad passed all kids the presents. Then they had treasurehunt. It was so fun.
