Mt. Rushmore

キャンプ場をでて次の日は移動日として７時間運転しました。その次の日マウントラッシュモアに行くためです。昔遠くから見たことあるだけでちゃんと行ったことがなかったのでいい機会でした。手頃な値段でちょうどいい量の活動が楽しめるとってもいい場所と思いました。割と近くまで行けるのですが、そこはある人々にとってはパワースポットのようで、ずっと動かずに心で祈っているかのような人たちがいました。アメリカ中の州旗があったので子どもたちの生まれた州と写真を撮ってみました。ところで７時間の移動、どうなるかと思ったけど意外にみんないい子にしてくれてホッとしました。
After leaving camp site, we drove seven hours to visit Mt. Rushmore on the following day. We have passed by and seen it when we drove from Utah to Minnesota before but never visited. I loved the place. The reasonable price and the right amount of activity. The statues are huge. We can walk up to pretty close. I observed that the place is a power spot to some people. They were standing for a long time as if they were praying. Kids took pictures with the state they are born. And I have to mention that kids did very well on seven hours of driving! I’m surprised.
