Camping at Lake Shetek State Park

独立記念日のお休みに友達家族とキャンプに行ってきました。始めは大雨でキャンプ場も一部冠水してるし、どうなるかと思いましたがとっても楽しめました。子どもたちは友達と一緒なのでずっと大騒ぎで遊んでくれました。行けて良かった！今回はキャビンを借りてましたが、これが大正解。蒸し暑くてアトピーが痒くてあさひは眠れず1時間ごとに起きてあやすのに、マムは網戸張のポーチの中を蚊を気にせず歩きまわれて助かりました。あさひがもうちょっと大きくなってから、また行くのが楽しみだな〜
Our first camping with Asa! We went camping with our good friends. Although it was pouring at the beginning and the Park was flooded, we had a blast. Kids played and laughed every minute. Clean air was so refreshing. I’m glad we went! We rented cabin and it was a good idea since Asa couldn’t sleep well in the complete dark or hot humid environment. He is a little city boy... well his eczema didn’t help him. Poor Asa cried every hour and I was able to carry him around inside without worrying mosquito bite. I can’t wait for camping again maybe when Asa is a little older.
