Dai 10 month old

今日で１０ヶ月！早いなあ〜元気に大きくなっています。ベッドから自分で降りたり、伝い歩きしたり高速ハイハイで好き勝手なことしています。なんでも隅から隅まで調査します。最近ハマっていることは手を叩くこと！だいが手を叩くと家族のみんなが手を叩きます。そしてまたやって！というとまた叩いてくれるのです。我が家のアイドルだいくんです。そうそう、新しいアパートに引っ越してもう３週間も経ちますが、みんな元気にやっています。電子ピアノやカウチも増えて、ますます我が家感が増えました。今日も家族で暮らせることに感謝♡
He turns 10 month old today. He can do a lot of things like he can clap, pick up cheerios and feed himself, stand for 5 seconds and walk with holding on something. He is especially very proud of clapping. When we say do it again, he does it with smile. His crawl is super fast! He is very cute and always curious. We adore him. He is an idol in his family!

Point Pelee National Park

金曜まで新しいアパートに入れないことになっていたので、時間をつぶすためにデトロイトからカナダに入って、トロントに寄ってナイアガラからアメリカに戻るルートで帰ってきました。というわけで水曜日はカナダの最南端ポイントピレー国立公園に行ってきました。久しぶりのビーチ！泳げなかったけど、きれいなところで、平たくて丸い石を拾ったりハイキングしてとても楽しかったです。アイスを餌にゆりをたくさん歩かせました！（左下はカナダに来た第一目的、KFCのジンガーバーガーをほおばる信ちゃん）
Our route after St. Louise was Indianapolis~Detroit~Point Pelee~Toronto~Niagara~Home!! I know it was a lot to see!! Unlike on the way to Texas, Shin made sure to drive less than 5 hours everyday so that kids don't get tired. We came home safely with energy to move into new home:) Anyway, Point Pelee was beautiful. We loved it! It is a nice small park with a lot to see, but not too much. We did two of half mile hike. Even Yuri could walk most part (with reward of popsicle). Shin was longing to go to Canada for KFC's Zinger Burger! He ate two at one visit and got satisfied.

St. Louise Zoo

土曜日にテキサスを出て、ミズーリを通って帰ることにしました。というのも、アメリカでナンバー１を謳ったセントルイス動物園に行ってみたかったので！ゆりは動物園が初めて！どの動物見ても興奮して大騒ぎでした。親としては来てよかったなあ〜とうれしかったです。すごく広くってたくさん動物がいて、なにせ入場料タダだし！とってもいい動物園でした◎
We said byebye to Texas and went on our way back to Massachusetts on Saturday. We stopped by to see a couple of friends and it was great. On Monday, we went to St. Louise Zoo! They said it was the best zoo in US and free admission definitely helped me to decide this visit. It was the first experience for Yuri. She was SO excited!! All animals made her scream (for excitement). I'm so glad that we made it!

Life with kids

元気な子どもたち。見よ、ゆりのスマイル×だいの涙。ゆりが泣かせたかどうかちょっと覚えてない。だいは大抵泣いています。だっこしてほしくて。この前すごくいい席でサッカー観戦できる機会がありました！が、ついた途端けのが咳をし始め、試合開始と同時に吐いた！！ゆりは開始と得点時に上がる花火に怯えていたしで５分で退散。うーーーん、残念だったなあ。。まあこれが子どものいる人生。試合はまたいつか。。。
We got to go to the soccer game last week! The seat was very good and close to the field. I was so excited! But, Ken started coughing as soon as we got there... and he puked as soon as the game started. So basically, I left stadium in 5 minutes after kick off. So SAD. Yuri was so frightened by fire works they did before game and every time they score that she wanted to leave too. Well, that's a life with kids. I LOVE MY KIDS! I do.

One evening

最近あんまり写真撮ってなかったなと思ってふと撮ってみた。抱っこ抱っこのだいもだんだんごそごそし始めましたよ〜。目を離すとえ〜〜〜ってなことをしていたり。足腰も丈夫になって１秒くらい一人で立てます。大きな大くん！

Train Ride to Klyde Warren Park

電車でダラスの中心にある公園に行ってみました。車の二倍も時間がかかって１時間も電車の中にいたんだけど、あっという間に感じました。けのがすごくよろこんでくれて、よかった！公園もすごくよくて、子どもたちの喜ぶような遊具や水場があってにぎわっていました。ゆにとけのも仲良く遊びました。帰りは疲れてお母さんは電車でうとうと。けのはそれでも話しかけてましたが。まだ時間があったのでモールで遊んでアイスカチャン食べて帰りました。
While Shin was gone for conference, we took train to Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. It took almost 2 hours to get there but didn't feel like it. Ken still loves train and he was totally excited. On the way back, my mom was so tired and fell asleep but Ken talked to her anyway. She woke up and answered every time Ken spoke then went back to sleep. Yap! That's one of my mom's talent! She can sleep any time, anywhere, any minutes!

July 4th weekend

独立記念日で信ちゃんがお休みだったので、いろんなところに連れて行ってくれました。まずはフォートワースにあるストックヤードに行きました。テキサスの有名な長い角の牛がいたりして。けのが初めてポニーに乗ったり、自分でヤギに餌をあげたりして大きくなったなあと感慨深くなりました。次の日は遊園地に行ったんですが、そこでも一人で乗り物に乗ったりしてね。いろんなことができるようになって、どんどん一緒に楽しめるようになりました。ゆにはまだほとんどの乗り物が怖くってマムと水遊びしました。お母さんが来てくれて助けてくれているので、わたしも信ちゃんも余裕ができていろんな楽しいことができるようになって、本当にお母さんに感謝！この日も信ちゃんと二人で絶叫系の乗り物に乗れました。夜はこれまでで一番おいしいBBQリブ！！とテレビの花火。
We had a fun weekend with my mom. Shin took us to Stockyards in Fort Worth. They are famous with long horn cow and train. Ken rode on a pony and fed goats on his own. I'm amazed at his growth. He is a big boy now! The next day, we went to State Fair of Texas. He took a ride by himself as well. On the other hand, Yuri is still little and scared of doing those. That made me relieved. We played at water splash pad. My mom helped us so much that we are able to enjoy life more with less stress. We were able to ride a couple of screaming scary rides. At night, Shin grilled the best BBQ rib and we watched White House fire works at TV. That was genius.

父の日おめでとう！

My husband is the kindest dad whom children could ever ask for. Love from all of us!!

お久しぶりです。引っ越してきて１ヶ月経ちました。ゆっくりながら刻々と時間は過ぎており、けのはひらがなを全部書けるようになりました。２５０ピースのパズルも一人でできるように。ゆにはマムのトイレトレに対してストライキし、勝利。だいはつかまり立ちと離乳食を始めました。この子がかつてないお母さんっこだということが発覚。抱っこされるか泣いているか、という人生を送っています。近くに公園や水遊びできる場所もあり、図書館や市の施設もすばらしくって、ここで夏休みを過ごせるなんて祝福だな〜と思っています。
Hello! It's already a month since we came here. Things are going forward. Ken learned to write all 48 Hiragana letters and finished 250 piece puzzle all by himself. I failed to potty train Yuri and completely quit even trying. See how happy she is now? Dai started standing holding onto something and eating solid food. I found out that this little guy is very attached to his mom. Either I'm carrying him or he is crying. We love our new place! There's a nice yard and we can see cows sometimes. Playground and splash pad are nearby. City library is amazing! I'm glad to spend summer here!

iPadでパノラマを撮れることを知り、国立公園で挑戦！！壮大な景色を見るといつも広角レンズほしくなるけど、これで広角レンズ要らずですね〜でもこれらの国立公園は正直日本で普通によく見る景色だったかな。
