baby photos

右上はゆにの赤ちゃんの時に、右下はけのの赤ちゃんの時の顔にそっくり。あっという間に１ヶ月。でもなんだかまだたったの１ヶ月？感がすごい。鍛えられてもう寒い中３人連れて毎日外出させられています。。。わたしもだいきくんも。外出できなかったときは子どもに何させようか悩んで工作などさせてました。がんばった！ところで、このキルトもいただいたものです。すっごくかわいくて気に入ってます♡
Upright one looks like Yuri. Downright one looks like Ken. Well, three of them are pretty alike. I feel like it's already a month! At the same time, feel like it's still a month?! I don't get to rest as much as I did when I had Yuri or Ken, but I'm glad that I'm back to routine again. While I couldn't go out, I tried very hard to entertain kids. I'm pretty proud of creative activities that we did!

Baby!!

１１月４日に生まれました☆大輝くんです。元気な大きい赤ちゃんで、4201gもありました。とってもかわいいです。けのもゆにもとってもかわいがってくれています。
Introducing our new born baby Daiki!! He weighed 9lb. 4oz. He is a pretty big boy! I'm still recovering from labor. Yuri and Ken both are being good brother and sister.

Halloween 2014

My husband and two snowmen… They enjoyed trick-or-treat this year together. I also made ball-toss-game for church halloween party. It was a hit:)
今年のハロウィンは、オラフ・・っぽい雪だるま。恒例の大学寮でのトリックorトリートに信ちゃんが子どもたちを連れて行ってくれて、たくさんキャンディーをもらってきました。先週は教会でもハロウィンパーティーがあり、担当で作ったボールを投げて入れるゲーム。なかなかうまくできたと思います。ゆにも床に散らばったボールを拾ったり箱の中にもぐりこんだりして楽しんでいました。そして今日ハロウィン当日は、アパートのトリックorトリートに初参加してみました。（毎年外出していたので）そんなに来ないだろうと思っていたら結構たくさんの子どもたちが来たので、昨日もらったけど子どもたちがアレルギーで食べれないキャンディーも追加したり、、それでも終了まで保ちませんでした。来年はもっといっぱい用意しよう。

Family Photo

金曜はとってもいい天気で、ダムで写真を撮ってきました。でも子どもたちがごそごそしてとっても家族写真を撮るのは無理だと気づいたので早々に切り上げて丘をゴロゴロ下って遊びました。結構高い丘で見てると急斜面に見えるんだけど、けのもゆにも平気で上ったり降りたりしていました。
It was a perfect day for taking picture. We soon realized that it was very hard to take a family photo with two little busy kids. So we gave up quick and they played with going down the hill.

Just an ordinary day

ポケットに落ち葉を詰め込むのに夢中のゆりちゃん。次はけののポケットをねらっています。

Autumn

秋は一番好きな季節です。葉っぱの色が変わるとわくわくします。信ちゃんが子どもたちの写真を撮ってくれました。今日は葉っぱを拾ってトレースして遊びました。二人ともすることが全然違うので見ているとおもしろいなあと思いました。けのはマムが言う通りにして遊ぶんだけど、ゆにはきっと言ってることが理解できないのもあり、自分のしたいことをちゃんと知っていて好きなことをします。葉っぱをよく見て選んで拾うけの、葉っぱを破いてポケットに詰め込むゆに、見ていて楽しい時間でした。秋ももう、すぐ終わって雪まみれの冬がやってきます。
I love this season so much. Today we picked up fallen leaves and played with tracing. It is so fun to watch them do things so differently. Of course Yuri doesn't understand most of things what we are doing, but I think she has a lot of different idea what we should be doing and she does it. When we started picking up leaves, Ken had fun choosing and counting. Yuri had fun breaking and putting those in her pocket as much as she could. I enjoyed autumn cold air and watching them.

County Fair again

信ちゃんが子どもたちを別のカウンティーフェアに連れて行ってくれたので、その間休んだり、家事をすることができました。ついでにまたグルテンフリーのパンを焼きました。最近ゆにのデイケアのランチボックスに入れるべく、グルテンフリーのパン作りを練習しています。ゆにはこのパンが大好きだったみたいで、大喜びで食べてました。しかしこの右下のゆに、マムの小さい頃にそっくりだ〜
Shin took children to a different county fair nearby. They had a blast. I stayed at home and rested. It was nice. I could get all house work done and even bake. I'm into gluten free baking right now because Yuri can't have wheat. I hope to bake for her daycare lunch. She loved this one that I baked!!

County Fair

初めてのカウンティーフェアなるものに行ってきました。家畜を見たり、トラクターに乗ったり、出店で食べ物を買ったりとっても楽しかったです。けのは３歳児のトラクターレースに出て３等賞をもらいました。（４人中）みんなの視線を集めるものに自分から出て偉いなあと感心しました。。。なんといってもびっくりしたのがモンスタートラックというショー。大きなトラックが古い車の上を飛び跳ねてダイナミックに壊すというものなのですが、始めのトラックがいきなり横転。中の人死んだんじゃないかと思い肝をつぶしました。。もちろん元気いっぱいに出てきましたが。あまりの騒音にゆにが怯えて泣くので早々に去りましたが、見れてよい経験になりました。アメリカって感じでね〜
We went to County Fair for the first time. We enjoyed animals, rides, food and "Monster Truck"! It was the first time for us. I had no idea what that was. Yuri got scared of big sound and cried. We had to leave but I was glad to have a new experience.

新しい車♡これまでの車も本当に祝福でした。がんばって探してくれた信ちゃんに感謝♡
New CAR!! We are so excited!! Since we are expecting another one soon, it is a great blessing for us to find this car.

Daycare

今日はゆにとけののデイケアの初日でした！今年から信ちゃんの大学のデイケアに二人とも入れることになり、別々のクラスですが一緒に通います。今年はゆにのためにリュックサックを縫ってみました。が、昨年同様そんなに出番がなさそうだ。。ゆには一昨日蚊にまぶたをやられて、まだ右目が開けられないというかわいそうな出だし。マムは今日はずっとゆにのクラスにいました。ゆには始めおもちゃに夢中だったけど、そのうち辛くなってきました。明日から一人で行くのは大変そうだけど、早くなれるといいなあ。けのは楽しくやったようです。話を聞くと本当に楽しかったのかな？と思うんだけど、本人は明日も楽しみにしているようでよかったです。この一年が良い経験になりますように！
It was first day at daycare today! This year Ken and Yuri both goes to same school but different classes. I made a bag for Yuri this year. Unfortunately Yuri got a mosquito bite and she couldn't open her right eye… looked bad (2 photos on left were took a few days ago). She seemed to enjoy the first hour then she survived the rest of 2 hour and half. Tomorrow she will stay without mommy. It will be tough but I hope she will get used to it quickly. Ken did alright. Some other kid pushed and he cried a couple times (he said). Otherwise he had fun (he said). He is looking forward to going back tomorrow. Have fun!
