Busy Christmas break of 2022

このクリスマスはちょうど家を売らないといけない時期になったのですごく忙しかった！ちょっとずつ準備はしていたけどクリスマスの前まで働いていて、1週間前にやっと本腰を入れて壁のペンキ塗りとかお片付けをしてクリスマス数日前にプロのカメラマンが来て家の写真を撮り終えました。ちなみにすごく綺麗に撮れたのでその写真は全部保存しました。写真撮り終わったので一旦は片付けたクリスマスの飾りをまたして、クリスマスをお祝い。今年は日曜日がクリスマスでした。次の日にはまたクリスマスの飾りを撤収して大掃除。その翌日には家を売りに出して、早速何人かが見に来ました。そのため家を留守にしないといけなくて、どうせならと次の日から3日間は旅行することに。けのが赤ちゃんのときに行ったきりのノーブーに行くことにしました。奇跡的な陽気で素晴らしい旅になりました。ノーブーは子どもが楽しめる活動もあるし、本当に行って良かった！リバティーとカーセージにも行ってそこもとても御霊を感じました。子どもたちも思うところあった様子。この旅行の1番素晴らしいところは最終日には、家にすごくいいオファーもらったこと！やった〜もう家から追い出されることない！新しい家探しに行ける！と大喜びでした。本当に引っ越しの過程一つ一つについて祝福されているなあというのをひしひしと感じていました。

Around the Christmas was the time to sell our house and get ready this year. I was packing all the weekends to hide the stuff. Starting a week before Christmas, we painted the walls and finished fixing all the minor problems. A few days before Christmas, I decorated and professional photographer came and took the house pictures. Which came out beautifully. I saved all the photos our realtor posted on Zillow. On Christmas Eve, we decorated Christmas tree and celebrated Christmas on Christmas Sunday. Then the next day, we cleaned up again. On 12/27, our house was listed. We already had showings and we had to go out of house in the cold. From 12/28-30, we kept house open for those who want  showings and visited Nauvoo. We have been there when Ken was a little baby. I am so glad to go with kids this time. Nauvoo is so kids friendly. Beautiful and has many activities. We also visited Liberty Jail and Carthage Jail. I think kids felt something. Hope they will remember it. The best part of this trip is, we got a great offer on 12/30! No more being kicked out of house! I had felt so blessed in this whole process.
