Merry Christmas 2021

今年のクリスマスはたっぷり2週間、ずっと家にいました。いい天気で、そりすべりやスケートに散歩もして楽しく過ごしました。クリスマスプレゼントはちょっと残りの休みを忙しく工作、取り組めるものを取り入れました。えいさにはレゴ、だいきにはカバン作るセットとロボット、ゆりにもカバン作るセットと編み物セット、けのには財布作るセットとプログラミングのオンラインコース。だいきは作ったカバンをさっそく気に入って小さな聖典を入れて教会に持って行っています。今年はせっかくクリスマスソングを練習してるのにコンサートしなかった例年を悔やんで、事前に録音しました！プライマリーで練習してた曲を子どもたちで歌った一曲、けのとゆりはそれぞれピアノ一曲ずつ、あとだいきとゆりがそれぞれソロで一曲ずつ歌いました。マムのピアノのミス以外はとてもよかった。なので録音に動画と今年撮った写真をつけてクリスマスコンサートとして編集し、クリスマスの夜にみんなで見ました。子どもたちに歌を習わせたいな～と思いつつなかなか実現しないので、家で歌うことを続けたい、と思います。新年の目標かな。あと、今年は何年ぶりかにやっと、アドベントカレンダー？ができました。うちは12日前からしかやらないのですが。毎日イエス様についての聖句を読んで子どもたちと話してとてもよかったです。もう今のうちに来年用に新しい聖句に差し替えておかなくては。。

We had a whole week of break before and after Christmas. The weather was nice that we enjoyed skating, sledding and walking. Asa loved it. He can skate now! For Christmas, I made sure that children get presents that they can work on. Asa got lego and build-car-toy. Daiki got bag making kit and a coding robot. He is pretty happy about his scripture bag that he made! Yuri also got a bag kit and crochet set. Ken got a kit to make a wallet and python learning class! I love that they got interested in new skills. Asa has been tirelessly building legos after Christmas. This year, instead of trying to hold Christmas concert on Christmas, I recorded every piece beforehand and made a Christmas concert video. Children sang a Primary song, Ken and Yuri each played a Christmas piano song, Daiki and Yuri sang a solo. I added pictures of 2021 to the video as well. I always wished my children to be singers. I loved how they sang. There's still a lot to improve so it is my new year resolution to keep singing with them. Every night for12 Days before Christmas, we picked a scripture and talked about the Savior's life. I really enjoyed it. I am going to prepare new 12 scriptures for next Christmas now...
