Yuri's Baptism

 

ゆりが８歳になってバプテスマを受けました。コロナの影響で歌もお客さんもいないバプテスマ会でしたが、とても特別なものになりました。ZOOMで日本とシンガポールとユタにいる家族が参加でき、ゆりの二人のおじいちゃんがお話をし、二人のおばあちゃんがお祈りをしてくれました。ゆりが「にじがすきです」のピアノアレンジを前奏曲で弾きました。けのとマムが証人をして、ビショップが司会をしてくれました。ゆりはとても純粋な信仰と証を持ってまた一歩踏み出しました。本当に素敵な日となりました。

Yuri turned 8 and got baptized on Jan. 30, 2021. Because of pandemic, it was a quiet but became a special baptismal service. Only Bishop was there besides us, but our families in Japan, Singapore and Utah can join us via zoom. Yuri's two grandpas gave talks. There was no singing according to the guideline at this time but Yuri played the piano prelude music "When I Am Baptized". She has a sweet testimony and love for the Savior. We are so blessed to witness her step towards eternal happiness.
