この冬は雪が少ないねと言っていたのに、二月の積雪量は過去最高になりました。子どもたちのチャイニーズニューイヤーパフォーマンスも延期され、当日はまた雪で開催が危ぶまれた中、みんな集まりました。この写真はゆりの学年がモールオブアメリカでしたパフォーマンスの写真です。ゆりはカメラの真横だったのでたくさん映って大興奮でした。この後信ちゃんの会社のチャイニーズニューイヤーパーティに行きました。けのの友達家族も来ていてライオンダンスもありでとても楽しく過ごせました。そしてまた今週も大雪で休校がありました。ずっと雪かきしていない家の裏は大変積もっています。ベランダの雪でかまくらが作れました。
So much snow this year! It’s record breaking. Our school is usually tough on kids but still had to close down a few times now. Kids’ Chinese New Year performance got almost cancelled but we got together in the heavy snow to make it happen. It was really good. This photo is from Yuri’s performance which was held in Mall Of America after that. Yuri was right next to the camera. Yay for mom! After that, we had another Chinese New Year celebration at Shin’s work. That was last week and this week, again we had heavy snow. I could make snow cave even with the snow just in the deck.
