Happy 1st Birthday Dai

だいが１歳になったんでした。おめでとう〜と歌うだけで済ませていたのですが、ベテランズデーで水曜日なんて中途半端な日がお休みになったので、誕生日パーティーをすることにしました。ついでに朝に信ちゃんから個人情報が漏れないように小さくちぎって捨ててと渡された紙を使ってピニャータも作ることに。ケーキを焼いて飾り付けてピニャータ作って、、としていたらもうくたくたになってしまって、ごちそうはなし！という意味不明なパーティーに。。。でも信ちゃんが子どもたちを連れてプレゼントを買ってきてくれました。カメラの電池がなくってケーキの写真はありませんが、おいしく焼けて満足！あとは職業選びっていうの？１歳の誕生日の定番をやってもらいました。そしてピニャータは子どもたちが大喜びしてくれて、一緒に作ってよかったな〜と思いました。ただ、いい紙を使ったから割れにくくって困りましたが。次は新聞紙だね〜成長の早いだいくんはもうトコトコ歩いてるし、コミュニケーションもとれるし誰より食べるし、毎日驚かせてくれます。性格も出てきて見ているのもおもしろくなってきました。この一年、また一緒に楽しい思い出を作っていきたいです。
Daiki turned 1 a week ago. I wasn't planning to do anything (such a bad mom!) but we were so bored on veterans day that we decided to have a party! I had tons of document that I had to cut into pieces to throw. That gave me idea to make a pinata! We decorated, made pinata and baked cake, then I was just tired. I couldn't do any more. So there was no feast but humble meal for evening. Shin and kids went to dollar store and got birthday gift and glow sticks. I don't have a picture of cake because battery of my camera died at the moment but cake was delicious! Dai blew a little bit. Banner started burning so I blew at the end. Dai proudly chose his future job as a scientist/accountant. Pinata was a quite success although it was too hard to break because I used nice paper. (Remember to use newspaper next time...) Ken loved it! He is talking about it over and over this morning. His birthday is coming up next...
