Rhode Island

ずっと家に子どもといるのにうんざりしてしまって、土曜日に起きた時もうこれ以上は無理だ、と思いました。そこで信ちゃんにロードアイランドに泊まりで行こう！とお願いしてみたら、乗ってくれて、すぐにホテルを探してくれて出かけました。すばらしい息抜きだった〜ニューポートは大富豪の別荘が並ぶ保養地で、夏は賑わっています。冬はすっごく寒い！けど海は青くてとってもきれいなところでした。この19世紀の大富豪の建てた豪邸の中でもっとも有名な、ブレーカーズに行きました。写真は撮影禁止だったので上の写真はウェブサイトからお借りしました。最近お城の出てくる本を読んでいたので、やっとそれが頭の中で形としてイメージできるようになってすごく興味深かった！そしてシーフードのディナーを食べーの、ホテルのプールで遊びーの、で翌日ロードアイランドの教会に集って帰ってきました。充電できた感じ！信ちゃんありがとう！

At least one of us has been always sick and stayed at home in these days. When I woke up on Saturday, I thought I was done staying at home with kids!! I couldn't stand it any more!! So we decided to take a trip. In 1 hour later, Shin booked a hotel and we were off to Rhode Island. I wanted to see the mansion in New Port because I've been reading books that people live in a castle. We went to "the Breakers". I really enjoyed it! I never could imagine what the real castle is like before. It's gorgeous! We were not allowed to take pictures inside, so these pictures are from its website. We had seafood dinner, swam in hotel and enjoyed beautiful ocean view. Loved it!!
