Dinosaur National Monument

 恐竜国立モニュメントにも寄りました。これは実際に恐竜の化石の発掘がされた場所で、半分埋まっている化石を見ることができて、とても興味深かったです。もう一つ興味深かったのが、途中のコロラドの道で、モルモンクリケットの大発生に遭遇したこと！しばらく道路でうごめいている虫の上を走らないとならず、かなりいやな気分でした。。が、しかたない。カモメがクリケットの大量発生から開拓者たちを救ってくれた話を思い出しました。

Another spot we visited was Dinosaur National Monument. This is the place people actually found and digged lots of dinosaur bones. We could see the actual fossels half buried on the ground. It was fascinating. Another interesting on the way was that maybe a mile of the road in Colorado was covered with tons of crickets. We were scared to drive over the crickets but what else we could do? We just remembered the story about how seagulls saved pioneers from out numbered mormon crickets.
