First Day of School!

昨日はけのとだいきの学校初日でした。けのは２年生になりだいきは朝週2のプリスクールを始めました。だいきは大好きだったみたいです。帰ってきて、「だいきは体の中に入ってイエス様に会いたい。」って言いました。わたし「どういうこと？！」だいき「うん、友だちが教えてくれたのよ。」だって！子どもたちがイエス様を求める姿がかわいいなーと思いました。いろんな誤解が生じているので話し合いが必要でしたが！笑。ゆりはオリエンテーションがあって、今日が初日でした。クラスは親友と同じクラスになれたので大丈夫そうです。ゆりはバスに乗れることに大興奮。何とマム、ゆりがバスでいなくなると何とも寂しくなってしまいました。昨晩はゆりの初弁当のために夜遅く(アサヒのためにどうせ起きている)パンを焼きました！すごい面倒くさいので弁当のために丸めて焼くのは本当に久しぶりです。ゆりは小食だし時間もないのでどうせあんまり食べないだろうと少ししか入れていないお弁当、ほとんど食べてくれるといいなあ。けのには夏の間に買ったベントボックスに入れてみました。アメリカンって感じ。良い一年になりますように！！
It was the first day of school for K and D yesterday. K is in 2nd grade. D started preschool! Two mornings every week. He loved it. When he came home he said, “ I want to go inside of my body to see Jesus!” Me “What?!” D “Yes, my friend told me.” I thought that was so cute of them seeking for Jesus. But there must be some misunderstanding so we had a good discussion after that;) Y had orientation and started school today! She was so excited to ride a bus. I felt a little emotional that she got so big! Last night while I wait A to go to sleep I baked bread for their lunch. It’s a lot of work that I haven’t done it for a while. Y is not a big eater and Kindergateners don’t get to eat lunch much but hopefully she eats most of it. I put only small potion of everything. And for K, this is the first day of new bento lunch box I got. It looked way cool. Wish them the great year ahead!
