Keno 5 birthday!

感慨深い。。。おけの５歳です。アメリカでは誕生日にみんなにお菓子を配ります。ここではお菓子はダメなのでマフィンかフルーツサラダでお願いしますと言われているので、今年は両方。他の人のを参考にしながら毎年ちょっとずつ進化させています。。次元の低いところで。来月はゆりの誕生日でしかもけのと同じクラスなのでそれも視野に入れながら。毎年ドキドキする一大イベントです。わたしがクラス全体に差し入れするなんて！！と。。。。気を構えすぎでしょうね。今年は何か記憶に残ることを、と信ちゃんが考えてけのと一緒にお料理をすることにしました。買い物から一緒に。信ちゃんはけのの大好きなゼリーとガーリックブレッドを作ることにしました。ちなみにけのに誕生日は何食べたい？と聞いたらレタスとブロッコリって言ってたんですけどね！爆。けのもとっても喜んでいてよいお誕生日になりました。その夜はみんなでけのの赤ん坊のときの写真を見たりして。かわいかったな〜〜今もまだかわいいけどね。５歳はけのにとって特別な１年となりそうです。よいものとなりますように！
Ken is already 5!! I can't believe it!! Now he can read and write a little bit. I didn't teach at all, he is going so ahead. I brought mini muffin and fruit salad to preschool as it was suggested. This custom is not what I grew up with, so I have no idea how it should be done, but I'm learning and improving every year! This year I made banner and prepared cups. I already made one for Yuri since she is going to the same class as Ken next month. Ken requested mochi cake for his birthday cake. I made dinner. Shin thought it would be memorable to make his favorite food with Ken, which he thinks Jell-O and garlic bread. Well, when I asked Ken what his favorite food was, he said lettuce and broccoli though... He had a blast with cooking time with Daddy. He picked ingredients he wanted from store. It was such a good idea!! We looked at Ken's baby photos and felt old that night... It was a good birthday! Wish him the best year ahead!
